Every kit on Synth goes through a manual review before it's listed. Certification reflects what we actually check today — not automated security or runtime verification.
Human review — a Synth reviewer checks the listing before it goes public
Soft precheck — we look for a usable project layout (enough files, size limits) and flag a missing README
Documented — we expect a README with setup instructions; incomplete docs can block or delay listing
Listing accuracy — title, description, price, and “what’s included” should match the ZIP you upload
Version declared — kits ship with a declared version; we expect dependencies to be pinned in the project where applicable
Reviewer aid — an internal AI draft can help the reviewer focus; it never auto-approves a kit
What we don't claim yet
We do not automatically install or run your kit in a sandbox to prove it boots
We do not run an automated malware or network-behaviour scan
“Certified” means reviewed for listing quality as above — not a security audit or production warranty
