A kit is marked Reviewed when a person has read the listing and approved it. We do not install, build, or run your kit, and we do not run a malware, virus, or network-behaviour scan on the ZIP.
Every kit on Synth is reviewed by a person before it's listed. The reviewer reads the listing and approves or rejects it. There is no automated security testing.
What the reviewer checks
The title, tagline, and description describe a real, usable kit and are not misleading
The “what’s included” list is specific and mentions setup docs such as a README
The category, tags, version, and license are filled in and make sense for the kit
The price in Bits is reasonable for what the listing describes
Any stated requirements (runtime, services, accounts) are spelled out for buyers
Reviewers may read an internal AI summary of the listing to help them focus. It never approves a kit on its own. The decision is always the reviewer's.
Basic upload checks
The upload must be a .zip file of 50MB or less
The kit form flags ZIPs with fewer than 3 files or more than 200MB unzipped, and listings with no README mentioned
What we don't check
We do not install, build, or run your kit, in a sandbox or anywhere else
We do not run a malware, virus, or network-behaviour scan on the ZIP
We do not audit the code for security issues or confirm dependencies are pinned
“Reviewed” means a person read the listing as described above. It is not a security audit or a guarantee the code works
