    Upgrade Pack Terms

    Last updated: 5 August 2026

Applies to fixed-scope upgrade / launch packs sold by Synth (AUD via Stripe Payment Link). Kit ZIP purchases remain under the Terms of Service.

    What you are buying

An upgrade pack is fixed-scope human work against an accepted checklist, usually on a Synth kit (or an agreed equivalent codebase). It is not an open-ended retainer, agency engagement, or security audit.

    Each pack lists:

    • Deliverables (checklist)
    • Maximum revisions: 1
    • SLA band (business days, starting after payment clears and scope is accepted)

The builder's written confirmation (quote + checklist) is the binding scope. AI intake estimates are not a quote.

    Pricing (AUD)

    PackPrice (AUD)SLA band
    Branding Pass$2993–5 business days
    Deploy Wiring$3993–5 business days
    Database Setup$4994–6 business days
    Auth Setup$5994–6 business days
    Stripe Integration$8995–8 business days
    Custom Feature (Scoped)$1,200–$1,5007–12 business days

Payment is by Stripe Payment Link (or equivalent) in AUD after the builder accepts scope. Packs are not priced or paid in Bits.

    Pack scope

    • Branding Pass: logo/favicon swap, primary and accent colour update, and one font-family replacement.
    • Deploy Wiring: one supported hosting provider, environment-variable wiring, and one working deploy with a smoke test.
    • Database Setup: one ORM/database configuration, one seed script, and migration workflow documentation.
    • Auth Setup: one auth provider, sign-in/sign-up pages, and protected-route/session wiring.
    • Stripe Integration: Stripe test-mode Checkout, required webhook handling, and one basic billing/status page.
    • Custom Feature (Scoped): one feature represented by an accepted checklist of no more than 5 deliverable bullets, integrated into the agreed kit/codebase.

Anything beyond these limits must be written into the accepted checklist and may require a revised quote.

    Deliverables and revisions

    1. Checklist in, checklist out: work matches the accepted checklist only.
    2. You get one revision round within that checklist (typos, small visual tweaks, missed checklist items).
    3. New requests outside the checklist are a new pack or a new Custom Feature quote.
    4. Delivery is complete when checklist items are done and notes/access are handed over as specified in the brief.

Out of scope (unless explicitly on the checklist)

    • Ongoing maintenance, retainers, or “on-call” support
    • Production security audits, penetration tests, or compliance certifications
    • App Store / Play Store submission or review management
    • Content writing, marketing, or legal copy
    • Third-party account creation you do not provide credentials for
    • Guaranteeing App Store approval, SEO rankings, or revenue outcomes
    • Work on codebases the builder cannot access, or that diverge materially from the briefed kit
    • More than one hosting provider, auth provider, or payment provider per pack (unless listed)

    Cancel / refund

    • Before work starts (status still pending builder acceptance, or accepted but builder has not begun and you cancel in writing): full refund of any pack payment already collected.
    • After work has started on the accepted checklist: pack fees are non-refundable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
    • Kit ZIP purchases (Bits marketplace) remain under the site Terms; these pack terms cover pack labour only.

    Your responsibilities

    • Provide access, brand assets, env values, and decisions within 2 business days of request.
    • Delays on your side pause the SLA clock.
    • Confirm the checklist in writing before payment when asked.

    Synth's responsibilities

    • Confirm or revise scope within a reasonable window after intake (target: 3 business days).
    • Deliver within the SLA band after payment + scope acceptance, subject to your timely responses.
    • Cap concurrent active packs so quality stays viable (slots may be full).

    Liability

Packs are professional services for starter / launch wiring. Synth does not warrant unbroken production uptime, absence of vulnerabilities, or fitness for regulated industries unless separately agreed in writing.
